During the first few days and weeks, we will focus on getting to know one another and learning procedures. In this Post, I've included Our Daily Schedulethe Related Arts Schedule, and some Important Dates.  For more dates, please click the Killian Website link.

At Killian Elementary, we use I can... statements promoting a growth mindset. We will focus on sharing and implenting ways we can be successful not only academically but, behaviorally. Our classroom behavior system will revolve around these four statements.

Thank you for completing and returning all paperwork as soon as possible. When sending money, please seal any money (cash or check) in a labeled envelope or plastic baggie with a detailed note. Include your child's name and the reason you're sending the money.  Again, be sure to communicate any transportation changes in writing and see our school nurse about student allergies and medications (even cough drops).

Water Bottles in the Classroom

I encourage students to keep a water bottle on their desk throughout the day.
Research shows that hydration improves brain function.
If possible, a refillable water bottle works best to reduce waste.
Please make sure that any water bottle sent to school has your child’s
name clearly written on it.

Snacks
